The NOFI World Festival of Student and Non-Commercial Films 2013 took place on the weekend of the 28th/29th December in Los Angeles, USA. Karen’s Room was nominated for an award and to our joy, it won! Karen’s Room won Best Non-Professional Movie. What a great end to 2013!

What an amazing couple of weeks we’ve had! First up ‘8 Ball’, was screened at the ‘Bath Film Festival’ on the 3rd December 2013. It was also selected for the Short Short Story Film Festival and the 2nd Annual Tenacious Dreams Film Festival, both in the United States.
‘Addict’ had its Polish Premiere at the Full Length Festival Kinoteatr Projekt in November.
Finally, ‘Karen’s Room’ screened and WON the 38th Teign Cup Competition in the UK. It was also screened at the ProFiRe Short Film Festival in Scotland on the 5th December. It has also been announced the film will be screened at the NOFI World Festival of Student and Non-Commercial Films 2013 in the Los Angeles.

At 5pm EST today (Halloween), ‘Addict’ will be one of 4 films opening the Germany After Dark Horror Film Festival in Gronau, Germany. It will also be the International Premiere for the film. The festival runs over 9 days and our film will be played over 6 of those days. We hope it goes down well with the crowd!

So much has happened over the last couple of weeks!
First up, our very own Geoff Harmer was one of the guest panellists at the brilliant Red Carpet Screenings Film Festival. It was a great night filled with lots of exciting and interesting new short films from around the UK.
Our film ‘Karen’s Room’ won the 38th Teign Cup Competition 2013, which was very exciting!
Finally, the wonderful people at Gorepress.com have posted an excellent review of our feature film ‘Addict’. Make sure you go over their and have a read!

The Pork Chop Pictures film ‘8 Ball’ that was directed by Fraught Production’s Geoff Harmer has a had recent bought of success. It was recently selected to be screened at the Mayor’s Variety Show in Basingstoke, to an audience totalling nearly 1000 people.
It has also just been announced that it has been selected for screening at the Bath Film Festival in December.

Very Happy to announce the North American debut of ‘Karen’s Room’ at the end of October in Atlanta. The HorrorQuest Film Festival will be screening the film as part of their line up. We’d love to hear from anyone attending the festival. In the meantime, check out their site www.thehorrorquest.com
